This important work largely devoted to 1914-18, tanks & the operations in which they were used. Orig. red cloth, titled in black (second issue binding), somewhat rubbed & worn but inscribed by another great tank pioneer: "E.D. Swinton 2 Sept. 1942" (& signature of [Col.] Denis Wood, Singapore, 1952 beneath). Scarce. See illustrations on our website.
