Covers several NW Frontier campaigns & WW1 in France & East Africa, with numerous detailed notes on the services of British & Indian officers, the organisation of the regiment & its peacetime experiences. Numbered on title page "Copy No. 6" & it is believed that no more than 100 copies were printed (the highest copy no. recorded by Perkins is 88). Perkins 414 ("... a superb book. Almost half of the pages are devoted to the appendixes, the most interesting of which is that which lists all the British & Indian officers. Each entry gives details of the individual's military career & war services, & most are accompanied by a portrait photograph... A very desirable book").
