Var. lists & rolls inc. British & Indian officers, awards &c. "An exemplary history" - Perkins 409. Orig. light brown cloth, gilt, bevelled boards, totally sound but previously damped, the covers restored with binder's varnish, VG thus with armorial bookplate of Donald Kenneth McLeod (Note: Lieut-Gen. D.K. McLeod, KCIE, CB, DSO, is mentioned several times in the text: signalling officer with the Zakka Khel Field Force, 1908; to France with the Lahore Division in 1914 & commanded 3rd Cavalry Brigade in 1920.
