Autobiography inc. company commander 9th KRRC 1915, badly wounded in the fire attack at Hooge, 31/7/15; returned to the Front as a staff officer in 1917 & commanded 9th/60th in 1918. A paricularly evocative memoir & at times entertaining memoir of the New Army officer, before & during the Great War. Very nice copy in dw. See illustration on our website.
