Largely devoted to Fay's time as Director-General of Movements & Railways at the WO based on his diary, with much on all aspects of the transportation including the provisioning of millions of men on all Fronts. Fay was a railwayman in civil life & was General Manager of the Great Central Railway. Orig. black cloth, gilt, VG & rare, especially in dw (this little chipped with some marking to sp. panel).
