[HLMainPic] Service with NZ infantry bn. in Egypt & Salonika - & being torpedoed in a troopship - convinced the author to transfer to the RFC, trained at Flying School at Denham, became a pilot in Home Defence Sqdrn. then returned to the Western Front with 100 Squadron (long-range night bombers). Orig. blue cloth, titled in black, VG in little chipped but very nice & attractive pictorial dw. Rare in dw, but note this is holed & nearly repaired where a price sticker has been removed.
