[HLMainPic] Edmond Charles Clinton Genet was born in 1896. Contains a memoir & letters from the US Navy (at Vera Cruz & Hayti in 1914); afterwards with the French Foreign Legion in the trenches 1915-16 before tranferring to the flying service &, after training as a pilot, joined the Lafayette Escadrille in Dec. 1916. He was Killed in Action on 16/4/1917. Orig. blue cloth, gilt, little rubbed & worn-ex-lib., with usual markings, o/w VG & scarce. See illustration on our website.   £45
