Orig. blue cloth with paper onlay to front, dark blue cloth sp. strip, sp. label sl. chipped o/w VG with armorial bookplate of Charles Edward Dunscomb Bridge, who was a regular gunner, a captain in 1914 & by the end of the war a Temp. Lt.-Col., GSO1, holder of the DSO, MC, Order of Leopold & French, Belgian & Italian Croix de Guerre, served in France & Italy. Post-war Military Attach‚ at Washington, Warsaw & Prague, later Sec.
