Terms and Conditions
All books listed on our website or in our catalogues are published in London and are octavo size in their original publishers’ cloth bindings unless otherwise stated. Dust wrappers are present only when stated. All our books are in good, clean second hand condition unless specifically stated. Great care has been taken to describe the contents and condition of books accurately, but inscriptions, private bookplates and very minor wear may be ignored. Any ex-library books are clearly identified as such. We use the following abbreviations in describing books:
nd = not dated (no date of publication given)
dw = dust wrapper
ep = endpaper
b/w = black & white
o/w = otherwise
sl. = slight/slightly
fldg. = folding
F&F = France & Flanders

Our Guarantee
Any book may be returned for any reason and a refund will be given. We do, however, request that books are returned in similar condition to that in which they were received. Responsibility for postal charges lies with the customer unless the book is faulty or has been inadequately described.

Postage, Packing and Insurance
Postage, Packing and Insurance are charged extra on all parcels at cost. For UK parcels we generally use Parcelforce 48 Hour, a reliable service. All packages have to be signed for. For smaller packets we usually use 1st Class post. Overseas parcels are sent by our shippers and different postal options and costs will be calculated at the time the order is confirmed.

Payment  
We accept payment by Sterling cheque only or by Mastercard or Visa. To use these facilities please quote your card number and expiry date together with your name and address on our secure server.

Title
The goods shall legally remain the property of the seller until the price has been discharged in full.
