An account of the formation of this additional regular battalion of the Royal Fusiliers, much detail on peacetime service in Egypt & the Sudan, Bermuda, South Africa & Mauritius before 1914; then a short account of WW1 services in Flanders 1915, Salonika then Western Front again 1918. Orig. green cloth with leather sp. label, cloth little spotted o/w VG & rare. Loosely inserted letter from the author regrets increase in cost of production, &c. See illustration on our website.
