The author Henry Williamson's copy with marginal annotations indicative of events being adapted for HW's 'Chronicle of Ancient Sunlight' notably the Battle of Loos, plus a lengthy note to ffep containing some experimental snippets of Twinkle's dialogue in 'A Fox Under My Cloak' (Twinkle being Phillip Maddison's soldier-servant). Later used by A.W. (Anne Williamson) for research & during a battlefield tour. See illustration on our website.
