Personal account by a member of the Royal Corps of Signals captured at Singapore in 1942 of imprisonment by the Japanese at Kinkaseki & Kokutsu PoW camps in Taiwan, enduring appalling conditions including working in a mine where some were "subject to savage floggings for those who could not dig their quota of copper ore."
