"This little book gives a good idea of the Palestine campaign as it appeared to a junior infantry officer. He gives descriptions of many sites historical because of their sacred associations or because of their links with former campaigns in a country which was the cockpit of the ancient world, as Flanders has been of the modern." - Falls.
