Handsome detailed history produced by G&P for the Regiment at the height of the firm's splendour, & produced to a high specification inc. col. fronts. (of the Landing from the River Clyde on 25th April 1915), 2 uniform plates, num. b/w photos., & excellent maps (many fldg., some coloured). This volume includes Boer War & WW1, the 1st, 6th (S) & 7th (S) Bns. served at Gallipoli & then on other fronts; 2nd, 8th (S) & 9th (S) served in France. Roll of Hon. & awards for WW1.
