Diary 1917-18, training &c. in USA then journey to europe: disembarked in England & explored Winchester &c., then landed in France on 30th October too late to see any active service. This work is very nicely produced & printed but as a record of WW2 service it serves only to record the tedium of many journeys, training & sports events, & little of real interest. Orig. grey cloth, titled in black to front, VG & inscribed by author on ffep. See illustrations on our website.
