Poems of Thomas Michael Kettle, 1880-1916, Irish nationalist politician, war correspondent and officer with 9th (Service) Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, who was Killed in Action on 9th September 1916, with a short memoir by William Dawson. Kettle was 36 & is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. Contains pre-war poetry plus four war poems. Minor wear o/w VG in orig. brown paper covered boards with wheat cloth backstrip.
