Reissue for family circulation of an elusive Western Front 'novel' of life in a RFA battery between 1915 & 1918, originaly published by John Hamilton in 1929. New foreword explains that the work was based (as was apparent to readers of the original) on Bown's service with 7th London Bde. RFA (awarded MC 1917). This edition includes an new introduction & photos. of the author not included in the original. Illustrated boards, one corner chipped o/w VG.
