Arriving at Alexandria in April 1915 the Ambulance spent several months dealing with streams of wounded from Gallipoli. A detachment served at Gallipoli as reinforcement to 2nd Fd. Amb., another section served in Salonica (there is an account of these sub-units' experiences in the text) while the main body took part in the Senussi campaign. Roll of Hon., awards.
