The second & very much scarcer edition of this official account, which "cancels the previous (1921) edition, copies of which should be destroyed." As background the work includes operations 1860-1920, with considerable detail on the little-known 1917 campaign, with valuable orders of battle &c. The edition here offered is presumably amended &/or corrected, as its supersedes the original edition. It should not be confused with the cheaper edition issued without most of the maps & plans. Modern blue cloth, gilt title to sp., complete with all maps & plans (one additional to the 1st Edition) including 3 in endpocket. See illustration on our website.
