BLAIR ([Lt.-Col.] C.N.M.) Guerilla Warfare. 1st Ed., ix+201pp., 12 fldg. maps & diagrams. Ministry of Defence. 1957  #69486
[HLMainPic] RESTRICTED publication, written with access to official documents. This study, after providing a historical summary, is largely of British-supported guerilla operations during WW2, "It then goes on to consider the lessons learnt & how these can be applied to the future, particularly in so far as the UK is concerned if & when we attempt to develop, support or control a foreign guerilla movement in territory occupied by the enemy." Remains the only comprehensive official survey of British involvement in irregular operations in WW2. 1000 copies were printed (of which 500 were available for issue to the DGMT) & few appear to have been offered on the market. Orig. green cloth, somewhat rubbed, VG.   £85
