Orig. red cloth, titled in black, fine in dw & very scarce thus, with author inscrip. "To Nicolas Buckhurst from the author. April 1945 Aberdeen." Jacket note states "Major Hay was amongst the first batch of officers exchanged, & his story is grim realism & truth. It gives a realistic account of Mons & the Retreat." Very nice copy.
