[HLMainPic] Interpreter with the BEF from Aug. 1914 to the end, notably at Gough's 5th Army HQ &c. DCM, MM & bar, Croix de Guerre. A most entertaining narrative with Churchill preface. The original 1st Edition, bound in plain mustard cloth with red, white & blue decorative bands, titled in back to front & sp., VG excellent, near fine dw, but for a small tear/gap at top of front board, with contemp. ink ownership "George Deleforce" to ffep & inscribed by author on title page "For an interested visitor!
