Exceptionally rare memoirs of this RFC/RAF pilot shot down & posted missing on 9th Nov. 1916. The author was one of the few who successfully escaped from German captivity, arriving home in Sept. 1917. Here he recounts his experiences from his forced landing onwards, including captivity at Osnabruck, Clausthal & Strohen, his escape & Home Run.
