Contains a 35pp. chapter, with photos. & maps, "The Embodiment & War Service of the 36th Coy. (West Kent) Imperial Yeomanry," serving with Rundle's 8th Division during the Boer War, including nominal roll. Orig. dec. blue cloth, VG with armorial bookplate of Charles Oliver Callcott Reilly, pencil inscrip. "Callcott Reilly, Trooper" & printed presentation slip from the CO. Note: Calcott Reilly was commissioned in the Indian Army Reserve of Officers (Cavalry Branch) in 1915, became Captain & awarded MBE with 1st KGO Sappers & Miners.
