Interesting & immediate record of Lady Herbert's mission to Serbia in 1915. Contemp. limp red morocco wraps. (was issued in paper wraps.), gilt to sp., little rubbed & worn, but VG with presentation inscrip. "Ellen from Lady Pembroke, Christmas 1915." Note: Lady Muriel Katherine Herbert (1883-1951) was the daughter of the 14th Earl of Pembroke & the inscription is evidently by her mother. Very scarce. See illustration on our website.
