Very rare other rank memoir: enlisted Warwickshire Regiment under the Derby Scheme in June 1916 but posted against his will to the MGC. Served in the Ypres Salient throughout 1917 & on the Italian front in 1918. Orig. brown cloth, titled in black to front & sp., VG with author inscrip: "Autographed by the Author. Albert E. Horton. Coventry. 28 March 1931."
