Informing as well as most amusing anecdotes of service in France/Belgium (mainly the Salient) in 1915 by a territorial officer of the Gordon Highlanders. Orig. green cloth, minor wear (sl. cocked) o/w VG & rare, & pre-dates the OAS series but clearly designed along the same principles: the author's second volume of war memoirs, 'Temporary Crusaders' was published in the series.
