Memoir of service with 216 Sqdrn. on the Western Front, 1917-18, piloting Handley Page heavy bombers; the squadron was nicknamed the Bedouins because they moved so often. Orig. blue cloth, gilt, VG in worn but nice dw, with a rather odd author inscription to ffep, written in ink in what seems to be a distressed, offensive & angry scrawl: "To the most understangery, the most ptd To hell withfug I'm feell - damn you you Hun R.H. Reece." Whenever Reece wrote this he was either drunk or highly emotionally disturbed, or both. No UK edition published. See illustration on our website.
