[HLMainPic] Travelling to France in 1917, the author joined the American Field Service at Paris & became a truck driver in the Transport Service attached to the French Army, & was present at the Battle of Chemin des Dames in August 1917, &c. With the arrival of the A.E.F. he transferred to the Motor Transport Corps of the U.S. Army & served at Chateau Thierry &c. Orig. blue paper covd. boards with wheat cloth backstrrip & paper lettering label to front, VG, a nice quality production produced in a signed limited edition of fifty copies, of which this is No. 26.
