Very scarce personal account of an under-age soldier in the Liverpool Regiment: he joined his bn. near Ypres on 20th July 1917 & served as a signaller, working on lines &c., until wounded near Gauche Wood at the beginning of December. Many experiences of action, training, life in billets &c. recounted in between. Orig. green cloth, gilt, sp. tanned o/w VG throughout. See illustration on our website.
