The near-mutiny over prospect of active operations in Ulster, by the son of the then commander of 5th Division (stationed in Ireland, in whose Brigade Hubert Gough commanded 16th Lancers) utilising his private papers. This copy lacks the frontis. but includes a loosely inserted letter from the author in which he mentions his Father's speeches to the troops under his command during the Curragh Incident, & to the officers of the cavalry in Ireland.
