The final, definitive edition of this standard account by the celebrated Times correspondent inc. all main battles & events throughout the campaign., a prefaratory Note explains that: "In addition to the despatches relating to the landing in the Crimea, the battles of Alma, Balaklava, Inkerman, & the Tchernayam the assaults on the place, &c., there will be found in the present edition the text of the most important clauses of the Treaty of Paris in 1856, the correspondence between Prince Gortschakoff & Lord Granville on the duniciation of the Treaty in 1870, &c."
