Jack Davies' extensive & regular letters from Egypt & Palestine during WW1, plus supporting material. He was commissioned in the Citizen Force in 1912, joined the 12th Light Horse in 1914, served in the campaign in Egypt inc. Romani, Beersheba (MC) &c., through to the capture of Damascus in 1918, with some periods on Chauvel's staff. Orig. limp. wraps.
