VG, together with with two issues of the Southern Railway wartime bi-monthly staff newsheet, 'Southern On Guard', Oct.-Nov. 1943 & Dec. 1943-Jan.1944, two circulars from the management, both dated 4th September 1939, re emergency evacuation of staff, further correspondence with Mr. M.J. Buckett, Traffic Controller of the Southern Railway Company's Docks at Southampton, re war work & his award of the MBE, including printed slip from George VI at Buckingham Palace forwarding said award.
