Excellent quality reprint of work originally published for the Govt. of Tasmania in 1921. Includes Tasmanian forces in Gallipoli, Egypt, France & Belgium (12th, 15th, 40th, 47th & 52nd Bns. AIF, 3rd Light Horse & 9th & 17th Artillery Batteries); also chapters on the Medical Corps, Prisoners in Germany & The Civilian Effort, with a complete roll of some 13,000 who enlisted, of whom 2400 were killed, noting wounds, awards &c. Perkins 597. Original rare & this reprint very scarce.
