Good account by a New Zealander who came 'home' to volunteer early in 1916, joined 116 Siege Battery on the Somme in Sept. 1916 & was commanding the battery six months later. Includes accounts of Arras, Messines & Passchendaele 1917, Lys 1918 &c. VG in sl stained but VG dw. Uncommon. See illustration on our website.
