Published in France as "En Liaison Avec Les Anglais." J. St. Loe Strachey explains in the Introduction that Millet's Anglophile tendencies stemmed from his attendance at pre-war manouvres; he was attached to the Lahore Division of the Indian Corps as a liaison officer & remained with them throughout the battles of Givenchy, Neuve Chapelle & 2nd Ypres, MiD by Sir John French & received the MC.
