Concise official account of Leese's tenure as C-in-C, Allied Land Forces, South-East Asia, in control of Arakan Ops. (essentailly XV Corps under Christison), 14th Army (Slim) in the central plain & the Northern Combat Area Command (mostly Chinese, plus 36th British Div. & an American brigade). Operations & events clearly laid out in numbered paragraphs, plus rolls of senior officers & an 'Unofficial Note on the Organisation of Air Supply.' useful & rare summary of most of the concluding operations in the Far East. Orig. red cloth, rather monssoned & therefore stained, generally sound. See illustration on our website.
